Unwanted water in fuel is an increasing problem exacerbated by the increased level of bio-components now being added to regular fuel.  Water in fuel can result in emulsions that cause filter plugging and can act as growth sites for fuel bugs.  In addition, water reduces a fuel's calorific value causing reduced combustion efficiency.  Depending on dose rate, Exocet Fuel Demulsifier XO1966XB is used inhibit emulsion formation and keep fuel and water separate or is used to remove water from hazy fuel.

Dose rates need to be advised but typically as an emulsion preventative 1 litre of additive treats 50,000 litres of fuel and as a dehazer 1 litre of additive treats 20,000 litres of fuel.

Product is available in volumes from 50ml to 1000l.
